XP-Dev.com Documentation - Basecamp Integration
If you happen to use Basecamp as your project management tool, you can now get your source control commit messages posted directly into it.
Enabling Basecamp Integration
- Head over to your XP-Dev.com project’s Source Control tab
- Click on Edit Basecamp Integration Options
- Enter your Basecamp username, password and domain (usually ending with .basecamphq.com)
- If you know your Basecamp project ID, just enter it there. If you don’t, just click on Find Basecamp projects for the user above and it will search for available projects. If some projects were found, you should see them listed in a drop-down box next to the link.
- Click on Save
Whenever you commit a new revision in your XP-Dev.com repository, you should see a message posted in your Basecamp project.
Disabling Basecamp Integration
- Head over to your XP-Dev.com project’s Source Control tab
- Click on Edit Basecamp Integration Options
- Uncheck the box next to Basecamp Integration Enabled
- Click on Save
